Jessie’s POV
I slowly opened my eyes as the early morning light filtered into my room. The light danced through the billowing curtains. Jamie wrinkled her nose. She scrunched up her face a little.
“What’s wrong, little Luna?” I murmured kissing the top of her head.
If she had heard me, she did not show it. Her expression softened and then she relaxed once more. I stroked her long glossy curls pulling on them gently and then releasing them, watching them spring back into place. They were so bouncy. I adored her chocolate coloured curls and ringlets.
