Something strange was happening inside of me, besides the obvious. I was possessed but Brynn was quiet. She seemed to be…resting, like she was preparing herself for something to come. I shuddered, thinking of her conversation with the other demon. She was sleeping before she wreaked havoc on earth. Perhaps, she wanted me to expend all of my energy so I would be easier to overpower near the end of the competition.
