Jessie’s POV
Jamie had been gone barely a minute and I was already being flooded with emotions. She was going through them so rapidly: fear, hope, happiness, confusion, worry. I knew time moved differently in the Void. She was speeding ahead.
“The first of the thirteen is complete,” said Crone Clementine who was scrying with a mirror to try to decipher what was happening in the Void. She could not influence it directly. She could only get an idea of what was taking place. Relief washed over me. Jamie was one step closer to being done with all of this.
