CHAPTER 24 Secret Marriage

Doctor Michael decides to marry Marnie when they reached Manila. He doesn't want to let her out of his sight again.
"Marnie I will ask you directly to the point.," he said to Marnie while holding her small hand with his huge hand.
"What is it?" she asked. She is quite wondering about Doctor Michael's sudden silence.
"When we go back to Manila, can we go to Civil Registry first?" Doctor Michael seriously asked her while looking into her eyes.
"What will we do there?" she asked. She knew that it was the place to get marriage certificates.
"We will get a marriage certificate already. I want our love to be secured with a marriage certificate," he said.
Marnie almost lost her balance upon hearing Doctor Michael's proposal. He had officially courted her a week ago. Been his girlfriend two days ago. Last night, he proposed and becomes her fiance. And now she will be going to be Mrs. Co already. He was so fast.
"Wait. I am still processing what you have said," she said. She's been thinking of what will be her parents and elder brother's reaction. Doctor Michael was so fast.
Doctor Michael smiled and said," I know you're quite shocked about my proposal. But I don't want any barrier and conflict with our relationship anymore. I want to seal it will a marriage contract already," he said to her while holding her shoulders and started to embrace her. He can feel that Marnie was a bit hesitant with his proposal.
He doesn't know how to pursue women in a long process. He wanted her to be his wife already and brought her to his condo in Quezon City.
He won't allow her to be out of his sight and his side anymore. He doesn't want her to drive anymore to avoid vehicular accidents in the future. He wanted to protect and give her security.
They went back to Manila and Doctor Michael drove directly to Civil Registry Office to get a Marriage certificate. Marnie can't say anything more. She goes with the flow. She loves Michael too. She might think of her family the next day. For now, only Michael occupies her heart and soul.
Doctor Michael had all the documents needed for their marriage which made Marnie wonders, how can Michael got all her documents.
During their marriage at the Civil Registry Office, Doctor Michael gave her a full diamond wedding ring to Marnie to seal their marriage. He put it together with Marnie's engagement ring which he gave last night.
Marnie was stupefied by all the gestures and the preparation done by Doctor Michael. She doesn't expect him to be this organized and prepared.
"I will treasure and cherish you my beloved Mrs. Co for the rest of my life," Doctor Michael whispered to Marnie's ear after the ceremonial signing of the official Marriage Certificate.
Marnie was so overwhelmed and can't even say a word. She felt that she was drowning in Doctor Michael's love for her.
Their love story is like a whirlwind romance and she was quite afraid that it might end too soon.
Doctor Michael was staring at his beautiful wife, his own Mrs. Co now. He was so delighted by how Marnie became his fully wedded wife already.
"You know what Marnie? I'm so happy to have you as my wife." Doctor Michael said to his newly wedded wife who is still quite so shocked now with how fast their marriage vows happened.
"I- I just still can't believe that we are already married now. Can you please pinch my cheeks? I want to feel if it's real?" she asked the gorgeous man in front of her.
Doctor Michael smiled. His little wife was so naive and innocent. Their age cap seemed to fit with their relationship. He loves Marnie's innocence so much. This young lady is already his little wife which he will protect for the rest of his life. She is now his precious gem nobody can harm even his parents. She is her most fragile precious little gem.
Doctor Michael cupped Marnie's small face and instead of pinching her face, he slowly approached her and gave her a deep kiss on her soft lips.
Marnie widened her eyes after realizing that Doctor Michael is already savoring her innocent lips. There were so many firsts with Marnie when she met Doctor Michael and even Doctor Michael was so fascinated with Marine. He liked and loved her for who she is.
It was like he is having a little girl to take good care of.
Doctor Michael suddenly paused after seeing Marnie was almost out of breath already.
"Ahhhhh," Marnie exclaimed after being released by the deep kiss from Doctor Michael.
"You almost took my life," she said while blushing.
"You forgot already? I am a doctor remember? I can always revive you, my dear little wife," Doctor Michael can't hold anymore his laugh. His wife is really like a little child and he loved her so much.
He held Marnie's tiny hand with his huge hand. He kissed her forehead before they headed to his car.
He will now take Marnie to his condo.
Marnie just follows where Doctor Michael brings her. She seemed to be mesmerized by the things happening to her now. He is so fast, she thought so.
She only dreamt Doctor Co be her boyfriend and not in her wildest dream that she will be his Mrs. Co already at this early time. She's still too young.
"What if he forced me tonight?" she stopped all of a sudden. Making Doctor Michael stop as well.
"Hey. What are you thinking of?" Doctor Michael smiled when he saw how frightened Marnie was.
"I won't beat you. I will just eat you haha?" Doctor Michael can't help but tease Marnie, whose face became paler.
"E-eat me?" Marnie thought that Doctor Michael make her a guinea pig for his surgery. "No, I want to go home," she said and almost crying already.
"No. That's not what I meant," Doctor Michael laughed after realizing what Marnie thought of what he had just said.
"I am scared," Marnie said.
Doctor Michael embraced his little wife and said," It will be alright, I understand. I will be gentle alright," he gave an assurance to Marnie.
