CHAPTER 33 Home

After 3 days of hospitalization, Marnie was already going home. Doctor Michael assisted his wife is going to their coaster van and ensuring everything is well for her.

When they reached their condo, Marnie was brought by Doctor Michael in their room.

"Just rest. I'll prepare our lunch okay," he said while tucking her inside the quilt." Rest well with our child," he said then he kissed her tummy.

Marnie was so overwhelmed with how her husband treated her more now.

Doctor Michael went to their kitchen and cooked. While cooking he called Marnie's parents and told them the good news. He will bring Marnie to Batangas this weekend.

They will visit Marnie's family and he will inform them about the Grand wedding he has been preparing for her.

He will ensure that before her tummy gets big, they were already married at the church. He wanted to give her the best and grand wedding she deserved.

"Wow, it's a blessing for both our families. How is she? Is she craving already?" Mr. Castello asked him. He was so excited knowing that her only daughter was already pregnant. He liked his son in low. Even if his wife, Mrs. Castello was a bit hesitant about Marnie's stay at Doctor Michael's place, she didn't say any words anymore. She just wanted happiness for her only daughter after her vehicular accident before.

"Yes, Dad. Thank you. Please inform Mom as well. She's not yet craving, we've only known it awhile ago," Doctor Michael smiled hearing how excited his father-in-law was.

He smiled while preparing for their lunch. He loves her and loves her even more after learning that she's now carrying their child.

He cooked chicken porridge with plenty of papaya and chili leaves. Marnie has to eat more healthy and nutritional meals starting today.

He was so happy and inspired knowing that his family will be having an added bundle of joy already. He can't help but cry knowing that there will be their fruit of love already. Marnie is carrying his child, their child.

"I love you even more Marnie," he said to himself.

Marnie slept well in their bedroom as Michael was preparing and cooking in their kitchen. She was very comfortable now that they were here in their place.

After cooking, Doctor Michael arranged the food tray and brought it to their bedroom. He will feed Marnie.

When Doctor Michael opened the door and saw how comfortable Marnie is while sleeping, he didn't attempt to wake her up yet. He will just wait for her to wake up and reheat the porridge. He stared at his sleeping wife and heard her snoring small sounds. He finds it so cute on her.

He can't help but kiss her slightly opened lips.

Marnie felt soft and warm the lips of her husband on her lips. She kissed him back and Doctor Michael smiled. Marnie can't resist his kisses even if she was asleep.

"Hmmm. Good afternoon sleepy head," Doctor Michael greeted her while still kissing her teasingly. He is now caressing his beloved wife's soft and small face.

Marnie always loves what her husband is doing to her. She hold her husband's hand caressing her face and slowly brought it to her lips. She kissed her husband's hands and put her face on his palm.

"I love you, honey. Thank you so much for everything. For taking care of me and our baby," she said to him emotionally while looking straight into his eyes. Though sometimes she can't see her husband the whole day because of his profession, Doctor Michael never failed to check and monitor her. And Marnie does appreciate her husband so well. She felt so secure and loved by Doctor Michael.

He made her fall in love with him over and over again.

"Be well okay. You have to take a great rest and eat healthy foods. We will go to Batangas this weekend," Doctor Michael informed his beloved wife. He saw an instant spark in Marnie's eyes. He knew how she missed her family a lot. Being an only daughter with two big brothers, Marnie was so pampered by her family. And so Doctor Michael indeed pampered her too.

"Yey! Thank you, honey. I missed them a lot especially Dad," she said excitedly. She grabbed the bowl of porridge and started to eat.

Doctor Michael smiled seeing Marnie eats well. He made this porridge a healthy one with lots of herbs for his beautiful wife and their unborn child.

"I think, our baby will be my replica," he said to her.

Marnie almost throw up her porridge upon hearing what her husband had just said.

"Hey. Are you sure about it? I think this baby will look like me or our combination instead hmmm," Marnie acted childishly making Doctor Michael smile when he saw Marnie's reaction.

"Haha. I am just kidding. I will be so much happier seeing our baby look like you or both of us. Remember Honey, you are my first baby and my forever baby okay. I love you so much," he said. He took Marnie's spoon from his hand and started feeding her. He loved to serve his beautiful wife. He will never get tired of serving and taking good care of her.

"I love you too Honey," Marnie replied and started to eat porridge already. She knew how Doctor Michael loved her so much. She never felt left behind since she became his wife. His legally married wife.

After feeding her, Doctor Michael opened their LCD Television and watch Netflix together with his wife. He canceled all his appointments at the hospital to take good care of his beloved wife's life 24/7.

They seemed to be a young couple of teenagers. Teasing and loving each other. With their age gap, Marnie felt how Doctor Michael treated her like a fragile and precious possession.

Doctor Michael hugged his beloved wife while watching Netflix. he felt that Marnie fell asleep already. He lay his back and put Marnie's head on his chest while caressing his hair and kissing her forehead.

Marnie slept the whole day. Her morning sickness and symptoms of her early pregnancy are now becoming visible.

Doctor Michael can't help but to less her parted lips once again.

"I love you, Honey. I love you so much," he said to sleep with Marnie.

Marnie was in deep sleep already but the comfort felt inside her husband's arms and chest were there. Even if she was sleeping she smiled after Doctor Michael said those words. Seemed like she heard and felt him even if she was sleeping.
