Chapter 49 Guilt

Marnie was so exhausted from their twins' abduction. Her heaart was in deep pain. She's not expecting that this thing will happen to their family especially losing their kids at an early age.

"Honey, I want to see our twins," Marnie sobs once more. Michael was comforting her. It breaks his heart to see how sorrowful his beloved wife is. He is longing for his twins as well. As much as he wanted to comfort Marnie, it seemed that his presence is not enough for her and he understands her well.

Michael caressed Marnie's back and said," Everything will be alright. Senior Police Officer Jam assured that within 24 hours today, we can have our twins back."

"I'm so worried about our twins. Are they okay? Are they hungry? Are they crying? Oh God please protect our kids. I don't know what to pray anymore except for our twins' safety," Marnie historically confessed to her beloved husband.

Michael continued to caress his wife's back while hugging her. He can feel her body shiver while she's in his arms.

Ring! Ring!

Suddenly Michael's phone rings. He immediately answered it.

"Hello. Hello," Michael answered his phone. There's a silence. "Hello. Who's this?" Michael asked.
