Chapter 13 Confession

Things get along well with Jam and Alliah as they used to exchange the stories of their past. After 30 long years, Jamiro unintentionally confessed his feelings to Alliah, who had been kept for such a long time.

Would it be the fate of these two long souls to meet once again in this cycle of life?

There were no words of sweetness and pursuit, it was just a split of his tongue when he said "I love you" to her. It came from his heart. He didn't ask Alliah if she would accept him if he pledged his love for her during that short period. It had just come out and someone had found out that their feelings were mutual.

Alliah was stupefied seeing "I love you " in his message. Her heartbeat almost stopped for a while until she sent a heart icon as she responded to him. She didn't even know if it was appropriate to say "I love you too " to him, but deep in her heart, she did feel the same for him.

It is as though there's a missing piece of their past that needs to be connected. It's quite so strange, yet both of them knew that they were meant to be for each other.

Even though they parted ways before without Jamiro confessing his true feelings for her, then, after 30 long years, who would have thought that their lives would meet again? This time, Jamiro decided to connect with her and that he wouldn't let her go this time.

Others might say it's too late already for a romance to blossom at their age now, but when the soul falls in love, there's no timeline in it.

After quite some time, Alliah then replied to him, " I love you too," making Jamiro smile wide.

"Really? You do love me too?" Jamiro wasn't expecting Alliah would reply, but deep in his heart, he knew that their feelings were mutual.

"Well, aren't you happy with my response?" Alliah was a bit shy as she felt awkward. She wasn't like this before, but then, as Jamiro connected with her, she couldn't explain her feelings either.

There's a spark and connection between the two of them and they both feel the same.

"No...l I mean I am so happy. Thank you Alliah. Thank you so much. I should have confessed to you when you were still 14 years old. I didn't have the courage at that time. But now, I am the luckiest man in the world. I love you so much my dear Alliah," Jamiro couldn't help but confess everything to Alliah now. For him, it is now or never.

Alliah felt that her cheeks were flushed already.

She was so happy as well, knowing that Jamiro loved him even though there was already a thirty-year gap in their existence.

Jamiro wanted to go to Alliah's place right now.

"I am so happy really. Know what? I want to go to your place right now," he said excitedly to Alliah.

"I will just wait for you. For now, let's just get to know each other more," Alliah said.

"I already knew you since our childhood. I have loved you in your younger years and even love you more now that you are mine," Jamiro could help but express his love and affection for Alliah, even if it was in messages only.

He wanted to call her now and hear her voice, but he was still on duty and he knew that Alliah was still writing at the moment. He wanted to see her and hug her right at that moment. God knows how he waited for this time a long time ago. If only he had confessed before, he should have taken care of Alliah. She shouldn't have suffered from any illnesses or marriage failure.

How he wished that he had taken the lost time for the two of them.

"My Alliah. The only love of my life," he said to himself. He smiled while staring at Alliah's profile picture on his mobile phone screen.

"I will take care of you starting today and forever. I love you so much," he kissed the screen of his mobile phone as if Alliah is right in front of him.

He couldn't imagine how he would react when they met. Can he touch her face? Can he hug her right away? He wanted to kiss her lips and savor her. He was so excited.

"Can we meet next week?" he messaged Alliah.

Alliah replied," Sure, your treat," she smiled. She was so excited too.

Jamiro almost shook his hand upon reading Alliah's response.

"Oh, God! Thank you so much!" he gave thanks to the Lord while looking above.

"Thank you Alliah. Thank you so much," he replied.

Alliah smiled. Jamiro seemed to be a nice guy. He might have been wrong when they were young as she hadn't given him any chances of getting to know him better before.

Things could have been changed before, she thought. What if he confessed when they were young? Will she be his girlfriend then? Will he be her husband now? So many ifs...

On the other side, Jamiro also feels the same. He had so many ifs and buts in his mind already. What if he confesses to Alliah when they were still young? What if he happened to be his husband a long ago? He guesses it's now the perfect time for everything and that he won't miss anything to show his love and affection to Alliah. He will take care of and protect her by all means. He will make it a point that there would be no arguments between the two of them. He will treasure each minute to make Alliah feel how loved and treasured she is.

Jamiro smiled and thought of their meet-up soon. He looked at the mirror and smiled at himself. He felt that he is becoming a teenager again. 30 long years is enough for his waiting. Now that Alliah loves him too, he will make her his Queen and shower all his love on her.
