Chapter 15 No Ifs, No Buts

When Alliah and Jamiro started changing their stories and things about their past, their story now seemed to continue despite a 30-year gap.

Being in Jamiro's presence, Alliah had a fast recovery. She's now wearing her smile again. She's more lively now and so excited every time she gets a message from him.

She became more inspired as well. From one romance book, she's now writing four books. She never gets tired of waking up each morning to update her novels. A part of her had been brought to life again by Jamiro.

Alliah felt how to be loved truly. She hadn't experienced this in her previous marriage. She had been used and abused before. She had been through a lot and learned to accept everything that had happened in her past. She knew that everything happened for a reason.

Knowing that Jamiro had a crush on her when she was just 14 years old then, gave the goosebumps that made her giggle every time Jamiro's message pops up on her mobile screen.

Their lunch date last time was great. They exchanged stories from their 30 years gap and how they've overcome everything.

She was silent when Jamiro shared that he had a sad experience with his previous girlfriend. He had loved that woman but then he was cheated on.

Perhaps, it was their fate to meet after long years. To continue what was supposed to start way back 30 long years ago. Who could have said that they will meet again?

That Alliah had wronged Jamiro when they were young. She thought now, that if only she gave a chance during her young terms to acknowledge the simple glimpse of Jamiro, things could have been better now. Perhaps, he was her husband then. Perhaps, they have so many children already.

Both of them lived their lives with sadness for a long time.

Jamiro also had in his mind that perhaps, if only he had some guts to confess to Alliah his feelings before, he should have taken care of her. She hadn't suffered so much in her life and even in her health. He will make it a point that Alliah will be healthy under his care.

She thought her heart would be stacked up until Jamiro came into her life again. Not as her siblings' friends and colleagues, but as Alliah's new inspiration. She found a home in Jamiro's heart. She felt his sincerity.

No ifs and no buts. Alliah loved Jamiro from within her heart and Jamiro felt he wouldn't lose her again this time. He would make it a point to give her the happiness and contentment she deserved.

Their souls had been connected all of a sudden. Seemed that they had been together from their past life before.

Jamiro promised himself that there will be no arguments or misunderstandings between the two of them. The lost years of their togetherness should be compensated with good memories that will create starting today.

"Hi, what are you doing now?" Jamiro's message popped up from Alliah's mobile screen.

Seeing Jamiro's message pop up made Alliah smile.

"I'm in the middle of my storyboard in front of my laptop," she replied.

"Did I interrupt you? I'm sorry," Jamiro apologetically replied.

Alliah immediately typed," Nope. It's alright., I'm waiting for your message since early this morning," she confessed with her face blushing even if Jamiro is not in front of her.

Jamiro smiled. He can imagine how Alliah's face blushed. He wanted to have a video call with her but he knew that he can create another interruption in Alliah's work. He was so proud of Alliah and he admired her guts to write and discover more of her. It seemed that Alliah had so many talents which he had missed when they were young.

Jamiro is good at music, a vocalist, and knew how to play different types of musical instruments while Alliah is good she's great in arts, an author, and an artist.

He is so excited to learn more about Alliah's personality. She seemed to be different and bloomed to be excellent. From a simple young teenager to a blossoming refined and beautiful woman.

"I love you Alliah. I hope I can give you a formal date already," he said.

Alliah was so excited upon reading his message. She is looking forward to it as well. As she is quite recovering so fast, she knew that one day they could be dating like a normal couple soon. They were not getting any younger anymore. They were adults already and they knew their needs as a couple which is part of a couple's relationship already.

Alliah smiled with her imagination. Perhaps, she has been hooked on the stories she's writing for, making her relate the story to what's happening to her and Jamiro now.

"Well, I'm looking forward to it too. I love you more Jam," she replied.

Jamiro smiled. Alliah is really for him, he knew it.

He will make Alliah happy and protected from now on. He might not give a wealthy life with her but he promised himself that he will let Alliah lives healthily and happily under him. He will also take care of Alliah's son Joshua and treat him as his own since he doesn't have any children.

He lived his life as a bachelor without knowing that Alliah will come at this point. God has ways.

It has a purpose to be a bachelor for a long time and even if he wasn't Alliah's first love, he will make sure that he will be her last.

He just want to live in the countryside and Alliah showed the same interest as him. She might look like a stylish model and designer but she wanted to live like a simple housewife which Jamiro will let her experience. He will serve Alliah like his own Queen in their ancestral house in their province.

He was so thankful to God that he met Alliah, may late but she will be with him for the rest of their lives. He wanted to grow old with her.
