Amber was nervous. Dr River's had come and collected her and personally escorted her to the hospital room. here she sat, in a hospital gown as she anxiously waited for him to return with the ultrasound machine. She was all alone, and the longer she waited, the more anxious she felt. she was close to bursting into tears when Dr River's came back wheeling in the machine with a big smile.
His smile disappeared as he cast a worried glance at Amber. The poor girl was pale and exhausted, her brown hair matted from not having the energy to brush it.
