After Mrs Garcia successfully obtained the contract from Simon’s study, Tom drove to the factory where Lily was keeping Bella. On the way, he called to calm her down.
“Tom, I’m going to call James.” Lily’s patience was running out.
Tom implored her to wait for him, but she had kidn*pped Bella to get a reaction out of James. That was all she wanted.
Still, glancing at his watch, Tom thought he could probably get there in time. “Okay, you can call him.”
