I stuffed the last of my clothes into my case, looking around to check that I hadn't forgotten anything. I was happy to be going to the blood pack, knowing that I didn't want to spend a second longer than I had to away from Ste, but I would miss it here. I had carved out a little piece of alpha Drake's pack for myself and now I was determined to to do the same at the blood pack.
Usually the mate of the beta would help with making sure the pack was happy, handle grievances and so on. I doubted very much that I would have to do much of that and so I was hoping that Ste would be happy for me to continue with my enforcer training.
