"Finn, you have to drive me there." The tweet was still flashing on his phone as I handed it back, and started to walk to the door.
"Now? But-"
"Finn," I turned and hoped my tears weren't showing. "You have to." Quickly, I ran to my room and grabbed my uniform and shoes. Almost slipping on the carpet, I threw myself out the door and at the civic. I yanked on the locked door handle until I noticed Finn still lingering in the door frame.
"Finn!" My voice broke.
"Shouldn't we tell Eli-" he stopped, finally seeing my desperation. He unlocked the door and jumped in with me. "Alright, let's go."
As we started moving, I remembered that my makeup wasn't waterproof. God, it was probably running all over my face. I instantly picked up a pair of Finn's aviators and glanced at my reflection.
