We spent the night in a lush grove, away from the road. Liam hadn’t been pleased to leave our supplies behind, hidden in the shadows of the trees. Luckily, it was still there in the morning. “Thank you so much,” I said to the Fae as he saddled up Tilda. “I’m sad that we have to leave you. Perhaps we’ll meet again.” Their answering tinkling made me smile. “Time to go,” Liam called. I waved goodbye, climbing up next to him. “Someday I’d like to visit them again,” I said as we rode off. “Mhmm.” “At least they gave back our lamp.” “Little troublemakers,” He muttered under his breath.
