“What do you mean he’s gone?” Liam shouted.
The King, Liam, and I had been in the King’s privy chamber, outlining the details of the peace treaty between the Kingdom and the Keepers, when Declan and Finn had barged in, both pale.
“Exactly what I said,” Declan said, “We went to check on him, but the cuffs were broken.”
“They weren’t even real white silver. The others are, but three sets are fake,” Finn added.
“Find Blue. Tell her to search from here to the Ocean Kingdom if she has to.” Liam snarled.
Both men shifted uncomfortably. So did I.
“Blue left,” I whispered.
“She left?”
I had been meaning to tell him; Blue had come to me two days ago, saying she had her own things to take care of. “She said she would be back soon,” I said aloud.
