Lila’s P.O.V. I tapped my nails nervously against the ceramic mug in front of me, the soft clink-clink-clink echoing in the quiet café. The smell of roasted coffee beans and freshly baked pastries filled the air around me, but I had no appetite. Across from me, Jules sat with one leg crossed over the other, sipping on her latte like she hadn’t a single care in the world, probably because well... she hadn't.
