“What happened?” Jaden asked. His usually cheerful face is serious and worried looking. He walked over to the bed and gave Clarissa’s hand a soft squeeze. Then he looked at his brother questioningly before turning back to Clarissa.
“How are you feeling?” he asked. Clarissa smiled at him and nodded reassuringly.
“I am fine. Thanks to your brother’s quick action, everything turned out for the best,” she said.
