She called an Uber and went to Jane’s office. Jane is still at work so she told her to meet her there. She has no one else to confide in and vent.
Jane’s office was bustling with activities. She had a lot of patients waiting that there was barely any empty seats in the waiting room. Didn’t want to take up space, Clarissa decided to head to a nearby cafe and wait for Jane there instead. She was feeling hungry though she barely had any appetite.
At the cafe, she sent Jane a text, telling her that she was getting a bite and some drinks nearby. She ordered a vegetarian sandwich and a hot chocolate. She sat near the windows and looked out at the busy streets as she slowly ingest her meal. Once the sandwich arrived, her stomach growled in hunger and she practically inhaled it within minutes.
