Douglas POV Grandpa has had a quiet talk with me a few times since we got together, trying to make me see that I had to let Jessica fly. After seeing her little secret, letting us in, I felt a little like I had been trying to give her a Band-Aid, compared to what she already had. Those guys were eyes at street level, watching her as she went about her daily business; we could have passed by some as we walked around, and I would have had no clue. They looked like everyday people, blended in so well. My men, no matter how hard they tried, still stood out as security, whereas hers were everyday people.
