Three days later Alexandra was laying in her bed with Jules. The two of them were watching a movie. Alexandra had gone in for her procedure that morning. Jules had gone with her, and she hadn’t left her side since. Alexandra had cried until and couldn’t cry anymore. She was absolutely broken. Rowen had just left her. He straight up left her on the side of the road. She knew he had been struggling, she’d seen that much in his eyes, but she hadn’t expected him to just leave her like that.
