I skipped training, and the boys let Amanda know that I would not be attending lessons with her today. I went down to the hospital as soon as I woke. Mom hadn’t passed yet. I knew this because no one had mind linked me, and I know that Emily would as soon as it was over. It was taking longer than I expected it would, I hope the twins were right and she wasn’t in any pain.
When I got to the hospital, I found myself pacing back and forth in front of the large double doors trying to find the courage to go in but I had none. I guess it didn’t matter anyway as mom had made it clear that I wasn’t wanted. Still for my sisters, I wanted to be close by.
