I stirred as I heard noises begin to settle in the apartment. The twins were finally back. I hurried to the kitchen where I could hear my mates talking quietly amongst themselves. I could smell the dungeons on them before I even saw them. I shuddered at the memories of that feral, cold, dark place, and I was glad I did not have to go back there. “Hey, sorry we didn’t mean to wake you.” Jace apologised once I entered the kitchen. “Don’t worry about it. I wanted to see you. I missed you.” I tried to hug him but the smell was too strong so I stayed back.
