This morning’s training session was completely different than the one I attended yesterday with the boys. It was every bit as intense, but instead of training in the mud pits, we made the long walk down to the river, where we were made to run two miles against the stream. Seeing as we would have a long walk back, I had mistakenly thought that might be the end of training, but boy oh boy was I wrong. It was frightening, and yet exhilarating. My heart was beating a million miles an hour and I was kept on my toes the entire time. Today we shifted into our beasts and fought. There were some brutal injures but nothing life threatening, which was a relief.
