CHAPTER 35 In a blink of an eye, at least that was what Ava thought, the person had narrowed the distance between them. Her world seemed to stop moving for a few seconds. She was shocked, stunned to her core. “Ava–” he called her again. She placed a hand on her mouth, stupefied to see the one person she didn’t expect to see, not now or in the future. She could see him in her dreams, but not in person, unlike now that he seemed so alive. What could be happening? She was knock-senseless, unable to process what was in front of her.
