Night of the charity event…the auction.
“Come on, open the camera. Hurry!” Kiara muttered in an impatient tone.
“Wait!” Ava was still putting on her engagement and wedding ring on her fingers. Aside from the stud earnings and single stone diamond necklace, her rings were the only jewelry she would wear for the night occasion.
She looked at herself in the mirror, pleased with the result of her effort. She wore a long black evening dress and a pair of top-dollar designer shoes. Her below shoulder-length red hair hanging on her back was pinned by a white gold hairpin.
Even with the simpleness of her appearance, she looked elegant and with a gracefulness inherent in someone who belonged to her class. Brandon gave her a look of approval before he left their room to make a call.
