Ava stared at the bruises and cuts of Brandon. He was still sleeping even if the chopper had landed. His cuts started to close, although still swollen. She was still relieved somehow, at least she knew that her tears were working.
When the chopper's door opened, Avie disembarked, and a few minutes later, he went back with Avon beside him.
“Let Brandon sleep, Ava. He was severely beaten, sleep could help him recuperate faster. I will ask the men to carry the bed to your room.” Avon advised and help me on my way out of the chopper.
“Can you send Dr. Tomas to our room?” Ava requested.
