Julian was exhausted, Luca the same as Kieran tossed and turned all night, muttering to himself in his sleep. Both of them had done their best to comfort the small boy to no avail and he swore it felt like he closed his eyes for a millisecond if that before he was jolted upright , by the sounds of Kieran screaming loudly in the bed, sounding as though he was in a mountain of pain.
"No, No, No please let me go" he was screaming, his eyes still closed as Luca's eyes met Julian's helplessly, neither one of them sure of what to do. Should they wake him? Both of them hesitated as Kieran continued to scream, still very much asleep. Was this just a nightmare or was it something else? A memory perhaps?
