Nicky's giggles echoed through the hall as my brother carried him to the game room. I walked beside Jeremy in silence. I caught my old friend catching glances at me. I wasn't sure how it was making me feel. I felt like he was trying to say something but was hesitating. "So, Jeremy how is life?" I randomly asked him. He shrugged. "Same old, same old." "Really? Nothing new to report." "No, not really, Jem." He replied as we entered the game room. There were warriors and omegas playing pool and video games. They all looked up as I entered with Jeremy. "Don't stop your fun on account of me," I said to them all. "Pretend I'm not here." I laughed nervously as I walked through the large room. Iain and Nicky were already at the two-lane bowling alley. "That has to get old," Jeremy mumbled.
