Mason POV When the first sunrays break, I slowly and quietly untangle myself from a sleeping Carina. She stirs slightly when I get up and go to my room. I have held and comforted her until she cried herself to sleep. I could not bring myself to get up and leave, and I fell asleep with her still in my arms. I mind-link Benedict to meet me here and call the office, informing them that Carina and I will work from home. Denying that yesterday was a shock to my system, would be fruitless.
