CHAPTER 54
In the early afternoon of the next day, Cedo and Avid accompanied Ada to her apartment, very near the CatStark building. It was provided by the company as part of her compensation however, not once was she able to use it.
Ada has a spare key and she used it to enter the door. She didn’t call either Alissa or Minerva before going there. She expected to find the desolate with the two ladies still at work but to her surprise, Minerva was there.
“You may leave me here. Thank you Avid, Cedo,” she looked back at them before entering the apartment.
“Just call us if you need anything,” Avid murmured.
She nodded and smiled at them and then entered the room. She was able to catch their back as they walked towards the elevator. Ada was able to breathe smoothly when th
