“What intentions?” I asked, automatically assuming the worst.
“You are to make a grand entrance coming down the staircase in Ghost Moon Luna regalia. You have royal robes to add to your outfit. It was supposed to be a surprise,” said Marlene sheepishly. “You’ll descend the ballroom’s wide staircase in front of the entire court and other guests wearing a mask as it’s a masquerade ball. After a dance with the King, he intends to unmask you and formally introduce you to the court.”
