Something was amiss. Sterling was behaving even more strangely than before. He and Ruby had never been close. His sudden interest in her only further solidified some of the claims Sariah had made about my sister. Ruby and Stella had to be behind Wisteria’s disappearance. That was probably why they were so nonchalant about Rodney’s return sans Wisteria. My stomach churned just thinking about it.
