When I left Italy this morning, I made a promise to my father that I would bring Lauren with me. That is going to be twice as hard considering the conundrum I find myself in. My father has found my weak point and he is going to ride it for all he can.
I could have lied and told him that I didn't care about Lauren, but then I would be taking a risk with Lauren's life. I know Massimo and he never does anything without a plan. I could have lied and he could have gone ahead and killed her anyway, only just so that he could hurt me.
