I watched Anthony disappear into the living room, and I began to wonder if I should even join them for dinner. He told me that he wants us to pretend like everything is fine, and yet he won't even look at me, let alone touch me. I was heartbroken, but then again, I remembered that it was not going to be easy getting back.
I have to do everything I can to show him that I didn't mean to hurt him. I need to make him understand that what happened had nothing to do with him but everything to do with me. I heard laughter and chatter from the other room.
