The entire castle shook as I let out a tremendous roar.
“How is it possible that none of you saw anything?” Jason asked the guards that were before us. Their heads bowed as their entire bodies trembled.
My hand gripped the armrest of my chair. Small blisters appeared from the pressure I was putting on it.
“Answer men!” Jason continued.
The armrest shredded into pieces as the door to the living room opened. Remus had a poker face as Janus walked behind him.
“How is my sister?” I asked.
“The princess is fine. Just a few cuts, but they’ve been healed,” Janus said, taking a seat.
“Noone else saw anything. As far as we know, only the guards that were doing their routine fell asleep,” Remus scoffed.
