“Arghh!” I yell with my hand on my lower belly.
After two arduous hours, I finally reached the catacombs. Closing my eyes, I lean on the nearby wall. My entire body ached; even my head spun from the lack of oxygen I was having.
Opening my eyes slowly, I look around the place. Four different hallways stood grand before me. Their vast arches and lit chandeliers made the area look ominous. Gargoyle heads hands on different parts of the place. There was something strange from all this, and it was unsettling.
Moving closer to the front, I try to find a place to sit. I could feel the contractions, and I knew that my baby would be born any time soon. It worried me. I was alone and had no knowledge of what to do.
