Allerick showered me with kisses as we both laid in bed. His emerald eyes shined with a hint of gold. I knew his wolf was happy for his new heir, and I could feel Allerick’s emotions through the bond.
All of it made me giddy.
“I want to see the baby,” I muttered. Allerick stopped kissing my cheeks and looked down at me.
“Have some blood first,” Allerick ordered.
“Why?” I asked.
“Look, Selene, you lost blood, and your body is still weak. If you want to feed the baby, you need blood in your system. So now obediently do as I say and drink some blood,” Allerick said sternly. “If you don’t want to bite me, then I will serve you a glass.”
