We walked towards the conference room, where everyone awaited.
Opening the double doors, we step in, and all eyes fall on us. Yet, surprisingly, the hunters were calm. It seemed like the hate for the royal seekers present had quenched somehow, maybe because Selene was my mate.
“Thank you, everyone, for being here,” I said as I let go of Selene’s hand. She moved next to her grandfather, who gave her a warm smile.
“So, what’s our plan?” Jason asked. I looked at everyone and stopped when my eyes met Selene.
I smiled at her and turned to grab the codex. Selene frowned as she noticed the other codex.
“What’s the meaning of this?” Selene asked. “How did you even get that out?”
“I had Rodrigo help me,” I smiled, but Selene hissed angrily.
“ARE YOU f*****g CRAZY?” Selene snapped
