The clock’s ticking sound had me feeling impatient. I closed my eyes and tried to distract myself from everything around me. All the noises were bothering me.
Then, feeling overwhelmed, I stand up and start pacing the room. Finally, Allerick laid in bed, ignoring me altogether. I know he was mad because of what I told Jayce, but I had no choice. I will risk everything if it means I can be free.
I slowly stopped and looked at him. He had his eyes closed, and I could see he was asleep. His lips slightly parted as his breathing evens. I knew he was tired and was feeling stressed with everything. But I couldn’t drag him to this. So, having an idea, I turned and walked out of my room.
Walking down the hallway, I make haste, and once reaching Jayce’s room, I stop. Thinking carefully
