Jack POV
Spending the morning with Rafe, Luci and the boys, he found himself unable to stop smiling, was really happy, didn’t recall ever being this happy. His and Rafe’s parents had found them in short order after the announcement about the leadership of the pack; he being an Alpha now and Luci the Luna.
All of them had gotten hugged by all of their parents. His own father had stood and smiled at him, proudly, then had stated “My son, an Alpha.” Had yanked him right in for a tight hug, “I’m so proud of you Jacki boy.” Then looking right at him had said “But now who’s going to be the Beta?” had kind of been hinting Jack thought that he would step right back into his old roll.
