“You sound like you are speaking from experience.” Sara looked at Daisy in time to see a sad smile cross her and Trent’s faces.
“She is,” came a voice Sara hadn’t expected to here. Camille knelt down beside her. She reached for Sara’s hand only for Jackson to grasp it first. He drew it back and wrapped both of their arms across Sara’s chest in a protective hug just as Tank stepped to Camille’s back.
“Sorry. That’s going to take some getting used to,” she said apologetically to Jackson. “You know me. I’m a hugger so this is going to be hard.” Camille turned her gaze back to Sara. “You need to listen to her, Sara. Daisy has been explaining a few things while you were sleeping. Honestly, a lot of what you do makes so much more sense now.”
