I yawn as I conclude the phone call with Elijah Williams, the alpha I sent to take over the Morning Star Pack. He reported to me that the witches were driven off, and the pack's casualties were low. Two other alphas from neighboring packs had also helped before the royal troops arrived. Alpha Williams also reported that Cameron Marsh had disappeared, and no one knows where he went.
I sigh as I rub my face. “What is that little twerp up to?”
‘He wants our mate,’ Salvador mutters.
“Well, Cameron Marsh isn’t taking her,” I growl and rise. It’s time for dinner. We are having a small celebration for Arianna’s return. I exit my office just as Michael is coming out of his, “Are you coming to dinner?” I ask.
“Of course,” He grins. “Janelle is getting the pups ready.”
“Good,” I touch
