Chapter 13 Wednesday and Thursday passed in chaos. And Friday wasn’t starting out much different. There was a line in front of the bakery when Cal had returned from breakfast and the diner itself had been hopping. Jessica hadn’t put all of the events in the actual weekend. She planted teasers for several days before the Friday night kickoff to Stormy Days at Eagle Cove and man oh man were they working. The town had started filling up on Tuesday and was packed by Thursday night. The weekenders were in their houses days ahead. Vacation rentals were maxed out. The Sleepy Owl Hotel had its No Vacancy sign lit and the Lamont’s B&B was booked out as well, including Natalya’s room.
