The next few days seemed to fly by for Lindsey. She couldn’t remember ever being so happy and carefree. She stayed at Tony’s and made plans for decorating the various rooms in the house while he went to work. On Monday, he went with her to meet with Sara so she could get her schoolwork for the week. This close to exams and SATs there wasn’t a lot but she refused to fall behind. Sara was excited and couldn’t wait to go on the shopping trip. She had even gotten an excuse so she could skip out of that day of school and spend the whole day with them. Lindsey couldn’t do anything but shake her head in wonder.
