I must have called her phone at least forty times now. I wasn’t exactly waiting for five minute intervals. In fact, at this point, I didn’t really expect an answer, but it’s all I could do. I was getting more and more desperate as time ticked by. I had managed to get the kids settled enough to sit down and have some snacks, I put on a movie for them, and they were happily watching it for now. I was relieved that they had settled. At least I could do something semi right. I can't imagine ever having to tell them anything that would hurt them. Hannah meant so much to them. I should say means. She was still here. They loved their mother so fiercely. I couldn’t imagine how we’d cope if something were to happen to her. I couldn’t think about it for more than a minute without feeling hopeles
