Aden’s point Of view continued. A few hours and several cups of coffee later and I was growing restless. How much longer could they possibly be. I had already asked the receptionist several times for updates, but there was nothing she could tell me, just that they were still in surgery. Both children had fallen asleep an hour or so ago, the poor things. I wanted to drift off to sleep myself, but I was afraid of what could happen to them if I took my eyes off of them, so I fought against my heavy lids.
