Kane stood at the bar in the ballroom, eyes lasered on the ballroom entrance. Max, Amber, James, and Gabriella stood next to him all doing the same.
" You five look like you're ready to go to war, or waiting for your favorite snack to walk through," Greyson said as he walked up to them.
"Well, my favorite snack at least," Kane smirked. Everyone else snorted.
"The ball started 40 minutes ago. Where is she?" Amber griped.
"You don't think they snuck her away, do you?" James asked anxiously.
"No. Alpha Maddox seems like an honorable Alpha. I told you all what happened to her. Don't overwhelm her please, I need to talk to her first," Kane said.
