I have been working on the ranch to bury my pain, and it works well until I am alone
But today is different as I sit at the table and watch Nicolina and Joel. I am happy for the first time in weeks. I can finally say I am happy
I know Merrilyn is looking down on us, watching and smiling
As we have made Christmas the way she would have wanted, I take Mila from Lissa and sit her on my lap
As we watch everyone enjoy the meal that Nicolina and Lissa have prepared
Then we go to the living room and begin to open our gifts
