Mila’s Pov

Today is the first day of my compat training with Raven and I’m so nervous. Here I’m going to be trained by a person who doesn't like me so I really don’t know what to expect from her. So I’m happy that Luna Lilly is coming with me to look over the training. So here I am now, standing in the combat area with Luna Lilly and Raven feeling a little bit queasy.

“Okay, let us begin the training. Luna Mila I want you to stand in front of me, I will teach you some blocking techniques first”

I put myself in front of Raven and let her show me how to block incoming attacks with my hands, arms and legs. She makes sure that I understand what to do before she starts to attack me in different ways so I can practice what I learnt. We do it over and over again for hours until I’m capable of blocking every single attack from her. When we finally finish the training I feel proud but so exhausted over how fast I mastered the techniques Raven taught me.

“Thank you Raven, I really appreciate this, you are teaching me how to fight. I know is not easy for you considering that you don’t like me”

Raven just looks at me without saying a word. I try to read her mind but I’m met with total silence. Hm I guess I haven’t mastered my supernatural gifts yet. We pass a drinking fountain and I stop to take a sip of water. I lean forward and my hair falls over to one side showing Kade’s mark on my neck. I feel the looks of Raven and Luna Lilly and I realise that my mark is showing so I stand up and turn to them. I’m met with Raven’s dark and hateful stare that makes my blood turn cold. The small progress we may have had between us are all gone. She really hates that I came and “took” the place she always wanted. The place beside Kade, as his mate and the Luna of Silver Moon pack. I look over at Luna Lilly and see pride and happiness in her eyes. Knowing that her beloved son and the Alpha of the pack have found his mate, the one that will help him be the best Alpha he can be. I’m happy that I’m approved by his family, knowing that I have a really strong support system behind me. I mean I’m still new to this life and new in this world so I need all the support I can get.

I make my way to Kade’s office with a basket filled with food. It’s lunch time and I’m taking him for a picnic outside just the two of us. I knock on the door and walk in and see Kade hunched over a pile of paper. I make my way to him and stand behind him and start to rub his neck, feeling the sparks in my body.

“You’re such a melt Kade, we have only been apart for a couple of hours”

“It may be so but I miss you every hour I’m away from you. Now let us go for that picnic”

Kade takes my hand in his, takes the picnic basket in his other hand and we start to walk towards the forest. We walk for about half an hour before Kade turns into a small path that’s taking us further into the forest. After ten more minutes we come to a clearing and there I see a small beautiful lake with a waterfall. The water is crystal clear and the surroundings with all the trees and flowers makes the place breathtaking. I just stand still, taking it all in and understands why this is one of Kade’s favorite places.

“Wow babe, this place is amazing, I’m happy that you took me here” I say looking at Kade with a big smile.

“I found this place one day when me and my wolf Nixon were running around in the woods. I have never shown this place to anyone before” Kade says while he starts to set out the food on the blanket and beckons me to sit down when everything is done.

“I understand why, I would’ve wanted to keep this place all to myself too, it’s the perfect place to just come and relax”

“Yes this place has a calming effect on me and my wolf, we come here as often as we can”

“About that, how come I haven’t seen your wolf yet. He’s a big part of you and I just realized that I don’t know what he looks like”

“Oh, I guess there has been so much going these days since you came to our realm that I haven’t thought about it. I can change into my wolf now if you want to”

“I would like that, so is there something I should think about when I meet him”

“Just be yourself princess, he adores you just as much as I do. The only thing is that he probably will be very excited to meet you. So if he gets too much for you just swat him on his nose and tell him to calm down. He won’t get mad because you’re his mate”

“Aw no I can’t do that to him, I’m sure I can get him calm without getting physical like that” I laugh and shake my head.

Kade smiles back at me and stands up and takes some steps away from me. He undresses himself, making me drool over his perfect body. Kade’s wolf is majestic and tall, his head is at the same height as my chest and he would be taller than me if he stood on his hind legs.

“Hello mate, my name is Hiro and I’m happy to finally meet you” Kade’s wolf mind links me.
