CHAPTER 37
Palace 7:30 pm.
Gaurav and Luke arrived, but Alik was not with them. The two gentlemen had eaten dinner and joined the family only for desserts. There weren’t any changes in their sense of humor and appearance --they were both in good spirits, but they obviously looked exhausted, Elisha noticed.
She exchanged a few words with them while having dessert, then she excused herself, using checking on Elik before he goes to bed as her excuse. Spending time with family was never the same without Alik. It just made her sadder.
Elisha was aware that the family knew of their situation because Khalan and Aliyah saw them last night arguing. But, even if they knew, they were gracious and polite enough not to intrude. She was so grateful for that.
The Westons have exceptional breeding.
