Early in the morning, Greg received a call from his dad. He was in his parent’s room because he let Steve sleep in his room.
“Hello, pa? What’s up?” With eyes still half closed, Greg picked up the call and also checked the time. It was six in the morning.
“Greg, your mom will be discharged this morning. Come and get us.” Daniel asked Greg.
“I’ll be right there, pa.”
They hung up then Greg stood and did some muscle stretching to fully wake himself up. He barely had enough sleep since he turned in at past three in the morning. He was wondering now if Steve had woken up.
